this isn’t your average marketplace.

The Marketplace at 409 on Adams proudly welcomes you to Shop the 409 on Adams Experience. The Marketplace is designed to continue your exceptional dining experience and allow you to shop our chef made eatables, signature merchandise, and to explore all we have to offer.

You will find us to be a resource of inspiration for all things food and entertainment, creative recipes and videos, interactive classes from our professional chef instructors, and our one of a kind Marketplace. The Marketplace boasts top of the line chef wear, tools and accessories, food products that we use in our own kitchens, delicious human grade pet treats to spoil your pooch, and specialized items exclusive to our 409 brand that are proudly created for us and brought to you by local craftsman.

Stephanie Decker, MBA, CHE

Stephanie Decker wants to live in a world filled with innovative businesses that build up communities, leadership books that come with dark chocolate samples, and an endless supply of hot coffee.

As an hospitality educator and industry leader for more than 30 years, Stephanie has her Associates degree in Culinary Arts and her Bachelors degree in Restaurant and Food service Management from the Culinary Institute of America and her Masters Degree in Finance from Johnson & Wales University. She is a Certified Hospitality Educator and currently serves as the Director of Social and Economic Impact at Lackawanna College.

When she is not crunching numbers, this math wiz can be found spending time with her husband Eddie, their four children Madison, Morgan, Sydney and Blake as well as their 2 fur babies, Lila and Lucy.

Susan C. Markovich, CHE

Susan C. Markovich is obsessed with all things food and wine. Our resident red head is always finding ways to bring her crazy, creative visions to reality and in her next life will use her investigating super powers to excel as an undercover CIA agent.

As a member of the Culinary and Hospitality industry for the past 20 years, Susan received her Bachelors in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and is a Certified Hospitality Educator. She has various roles for Lackawanna Colleges’ Kiesendahl School of Hospitality, serving as Special Programs Coordinator. Susan teaches courses in the Culinary, Baking and Pastry, Hospitality, and Bachelors degree programs. She developed and manages the White Apron Academy that hosts non-degree classes to the community for childrem amd adults and serves as Dining Room Manager of the student run restaurant, 409 on Adams.

When she isn’t teaching, running a restaurant or virtual store, she loves to spend time with her chef husband Joe and their girls, Grace and Caroline.
